Because of this, Calvary is not accepting manuscripts that have to do with erotica or explicit content with extreme fowl language.

If you write Poetry, Children's, Gritty Christian, Psych Thrillers, Murder Mystery, Fantasy, Soft Romance, ETC with strong relationship values that lead believers AND non-believers to or back to Christ- We would love to see what you have to offer!
Please submit the first three pages of your manuscript, along with an explanation of what led you to write your story.

Have you wanted to create a story but just aren't sure how? Come on a journey of self-discovery as Brittany K. breaks down the art of storytelling in palatable sessions once or twice a week for twelve weeks.

In this writing course the writer will choose whether they would like to meet virtually or in person once a week for forty-five minutes or once a week for an hour and a half.
​
Here is a taste of what you will do in this course:

Receive a copy of "Save the cat writes a novel," personal writing journal, pen, and bookmark.

Go over industry standards of genre's, expectations, and methods.

Learn the acts and writing structure to be successful in the industry.

Pick a genre/idea you want to write off of a series of writing prompts.

Write a manuscript ranging from 10k-100k words. OR write a series of short stories/micro fiction over the entire course.

Collaborate together or individually in a weekly zoom writing session.

Submit work to be critiqued and edited weekly.

Have the opportunity to submit your work to Calvary for potential publication at the end of the twelve weeks.
